The Rhinebeck (Quitman) Resource Center for Preservation was incorporated in 1976 as a non-profit organization and the house was renamed for its original occupant. In 1986 the Town of Rhinebeck designated the Quitman House as an official historic site.


The Resource Center oversees:

  1. The Quitman House historic site located at 7015 Rte 9, Rhinebeck, NY. This building is home to the Museum of Rhinebeck History; Hudson River Heritage offices, the Joy of Collaboration education office; and the property manager
